Students who think that they should have received higher marks in NBSE HSSLC results can apply for the rescrutiny of their answer scripts. The applications should be routed through their schools respectively. 

• Students can apply online at nbsenag@gmail.com for re-scrutiny of the NBSE Class 12th answer scripts for any number of subjects after the declaration of NBSE HSSLC result. This should be done within 30 days, once result is out.
• The prescribed fee of Rs 500 per subject shall be paid to SBI Account No. 39353961985, IFS Code SBIN0000214. The scanned copies of the payment receipt, mark sheet, mark sheet-cum-pass certificate, admit card and the phone/mobile number of the candidate should be mailed at the above mail address along with the application of rescrutiny.
• Rescrutiny results shall be declared within 40 (forty) days after the declaration of the result and will be available at nbsenagaland.com.
• Only those students who apply for rescrutiny of answer scripts can fill out applications for the photocopies of their answer sheets by applying online at nbsenag@gmail.com. 
• The prescribed fee of Rs 1,000 per subject shall be paid to SBI Account No. 39353961985, IFS Code SBIN0000214. The scanned copies of the payment receipt, marksheet, marksheet-cum-pass certificate, admit card and the phone/mobile number of the candidate should be mailed to the above mail address along with the application for photocopies.
• The last date for submission of the application for photocopy is 15 days after the declaration of the re-scrutiny result.

Nagaland Board will declare the NBSE HSSLC compartment result 2026 in July 2026. Students can check the same online on the official website at nbsenl.edu.in. Students who are unable to pass one or two subjects in the exam can appear for the supplementary exams. The supplementary exams will be conducted in June 2026. They are required to pay a nominal fee per subject for the supplementary exams. They must refer to the NBSE HSSLC routine to know the date and time of the exam.
