JKBOSE will conduct class 10 board exams from today between 11 AM to 2 PM across 994 exam centres in the Kashmir Division and the winter zone areas of Jammu Division.
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) will begin its bi-annual Class 10 examination session for the October-November session today, Nov 3. The exams for students from the Kashmir division and winter zone areas of the Jammu division will be conducted from November 3 to 27, 2025. Around 95,000 students across the Kashmir division, Jammu’s winter zone and the UT of Ladakh will appear in the entrance examination.
JKBOSE Class 10 Exam Syllabus Reduced
Students must note that the board has announced a reduction of 15% in the syllabus for the session 2025 due to floods and excessive rain in several regions. For this session, 85 per cent of the syllabus counts as 100 per cent for assessment purposes
Over 95000 Students to Appear
As per media reports, approximately 68,804 students from the 10 districts of the Kashmir Division and 25,224 candidates from eight districts in Jammu’s winter zone will appear for the JKBOSE board exam 2025, Oct-Nov session. Additionally, 660 students from Kargil and 95 from Leh district have registered to appear in the entrance exam.
The Board has set up 994 examination centres across the region to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. The JKBOSE board exam 2025 class 10 will be conducted between 11 AM to 2 PM.
JKBOSE 10th board exam 2025 will begin with Mathematics and end on November 27 with Painting/Art and Drawing. According to the date sheet, the Social Science exam will be held on November 7, Science on November 11, the English exam on November 14, and the Urdu or Hindi on November 17.

The Class 12 exams in the state were conducted between February 15 and March 24, 2025 for soft and hard zones in pen and paper format or offline mode. The board released the JKBOSE 12th admit card 2025 in February. Students need to collect their admit card from their school and carry it on all exam days otherwise they will not be allowed to write the exams. Students must reach their examination centre at least half an hour before the beginning of the exams.
In case you are unable to attend a JKBOSE 10th board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the supplementary exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.
