For this year’s exam, the board decided to reduce the syllabus by nearly 25% due to online classes. The board chairman also said that for the convenience of students, the exam centres would also be allotted in the third-party schools rather than home centres.
For this year’s Maharashtra board exams, the students had to appear for the exam at the nearest exam centres. Also, the exam centres were increased this year for the convenience of students. Sudhakar Raut, a secondary school teacher, said, "Many concessions were given to the students to ensure that offline exams were conducted without any hassle. The concessions ensured that the students kept their calm while preparing for the crucial examinations."
"We will have to go back to the original rules and regulations from next year onwards. We do not see any reason why the syllabus should be reduced and the same should be noted by students to prepare accordingly," State board chairman Sharad Gosavi said. "From next year onwards, the students will be shuffled to other schools as per the traditional practice," he added.
Meanwhile, the board has declared both Maharashtra SSC result 2022 and Maharashtra HSC result 2022. This year, the HSC exam was conducted for a total of 153 subjects. Out of these subjects, the pass percentage was 100% in 24 subjects.
