Turning all state board schools would reduce the student strength to 50 per cent during Class 12th board exams 2021 thereby ensuring social distancing.
To ensure social distancing, several principals have asked for exam, centres in all schools thereby bringing down the students strength in exam halls by 50 per cent during class 12th board exams in the state. TN 12th exams 2021 are scheduled from May 5 till May 31.
According to the revised time table, the language exams schedule on May 3 was postponed to May 31. There are 4,000 higher secondary schools in the state and around 3,000 schools have exam centres.
N Vijayan, Senior principal of Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Tambaran told media that the schools should conduct 12th board exams for students in their own schools. He said that in order to maintain social distancing, each higher secondary school should be made an exam centre. The strength of the exam hall should be reduced from 20 to 10 per hall. They can increase the number of exam halls and invigilators.

Students preparing for the 12th board exams must solve, practice and analyze the previous yearsโ question papers to score well. These will make them familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme, and the different types of questions asked in the exam. This will also help them with the time management.
Earlier, the Board had cancelled the TN 10th exams 2021 amid rising COVID19 cases in the state.
