Jaipuria Institute of Management hosts orientation program for new MBA Batch

The event, known as Shubharambh 2024, marked the official start of the new academic year and was designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the students, blending academic and spiritual elements.

The orientation began with a documentation process on August 22, symbolizing the official commencement of their academic journey. On August 23, students participated in the Sunderkand Path, reflecting the institute’s commitment to combining academic rigor with spiritual enrichment.

Inaugural Ceremony and Inspirational Addresses

The main orientation event took place on August 24, 2024. It commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, followed by a warm welcome to distinguished guests and attendees. Professor (Dr) Daviender Narang, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, delivered the Welcome Address, setting an encouraging tone for the day.

Saket Jaipuria, Vice-Chairman of the Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society, provided the Inaugural Address, motivating students with his vision for educational excellence. The program featured prominent speakers including Vinay Thakur, Additional Director General at BiSAG-N, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, who discussed the transformative role of technology. Sameer Kohli, Director of EMEA Cloud Platform Insight, elaborated on cloud technology's evolving landscape and its impact on management.

Industry Insights and Alumni Interaction

The event also included addresses from industry leaders such as Mr. Neeraj Mehra, Vice President of Human Resources at Infogain, and Ms. Anupama Tripathi, General Manager of HR at V5 Global. They shared insights into the expectations and dynamics of the modern workplace.

The afternoon session, titled "Spandan: Alumni Meet 2024," offered new students an opportunity to connect with distinguished alumni from top organizations including India Mart, Axis Bank, KPMG, Bandhan Bank, ICICI, Zee Group, and Times of India. Alumni shared their professional journeys and challenges, providing valuable guidance and inspiration.
