Woxsen University has entered into a strategic five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IBM India Private Limited, establishing a robust academia-industry partnership to advance technology education across its business and technology disciplines. The collaboration aims to enrich the curriculum, provide hands-on industry training, and offer globally recognized IBM certifications.
Spanning Woxsen’s School of Business and School of Technology, the initiative will particularly benefit students enrolled in the MBA (Business Analytics) and BBA (Data Science & Artificial Intelligence) programs, while also extending opportunities to technology students university-wide. Through this partnership, students will gain access to IBM’s cutting-edge enterprise tools and platforms, widely adopted by Fortune 500 companies.
A key highlight of the collaboration is student access to IBM’s comprehensive technology ecosystem including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and advanced analytics enhanced by globally recognized certifications. IBM subject matter experts will co-deliver select modules alongside Woxsen faculty, integrating real-world business scenarios and enterprise-grade platforms into classroom learning. The partnership also opens doors to internships and placement opportunities through IBM’s expansive global network, with many students expected to secure pre-placement offers.
