JMI Admissions 2021: Jamia Millia Islamia application form last date extended till July 10

Students can visit the official website of the varsity to apply for various UG, PG courses on or before July 10. Read further to know more.

JMI Admissions 2021: Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) University has extended the application deadline for various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, BTech, BArch, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma Programs of the University for 2021-22. Candidates interested in JMI Admissions 2021 must note that the last date to submit the online application form was earlier June 30, 2021. However, now they can apply at the official website of the varsity on or before July 10, 2021. 
“The Vice-Chancellors, JMI on the request of the aspirants has approved the extension in the last date of filing of admission forms for all undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma programmes, etc for the academic session 2021-22 till July 1,” the official notification read.

JMI application forms were released on May 17.  Earlier, JMI University had extended the last date to submit application forms for even semester and year exams of undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma programmes.

The varsity earlier informed that it has introduced 8 new courses and 4 departments. The four new departments introduced at JMI are (i) Department of Design and Innovation (ii) Department of Hospital Management and Hospice Studies (iii) Department of Foreign Languages and (iv) Department of Environmental Sciences. Information about the new courses and departments can be accessed on the university’s website -- jmi.ac.in and portal of the controller of examinations jmicoe.in.

The varsity had earlier announced that it will conduct the entrance exam for 134 courses from July 26, 2021, to August 28, 2021. The last date for submitting the Qualifying Exam result is September 30, 2021. 

The varsity has also introduced 8 new courses that are (i) Master of Design in the Faculty of Architecture (ii) BA (Hons.) French and Francophone Studies in Centre of Spanish and Latin American Studies (iii) BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies in Centre of Spanish and Latin American Studies (iv) MSc Environmental Science & Management (v) MA Mass Media (Hindi) in the Department of Hindi (vi) PG Diploma in Translation Studies in the Department of English (vii) PG Diploma in English-Hindi Translation in the Department of Hindi (vi) MBA (Healthcare & Hospital Management).

JMI will also issue an official notice regarding the entrance test of part-time, certificate, diploma and an advanced diploma in language courses separately. Considering the pandemic situation, the varsity stated that it may change the dates mentioned above under the prevailing pandemic situation.
