
Mumbai University's first merit list to be released today at 11 am. Know where and how to check.
The University of Mumbai will be releasing the first merit list for Mumbai University UG Admission 2020 today, i.e. August 6 by 11 am. The varsity will be releasing the merit list on its official website, i.e. mu.ac.in. The University had earlier extended the last date to submit the application form for the Mumbai University Admission 2020 until August 5. Students were allowed to apply for admission to the Undergraduate courses online until 3 pm. The verification and documentation process would follow until August 11, once the list is declared. This year around 3.3 lakh candidates have registered and 6.2 lakh applications have been filled. Mumbai University will release the 2nd Merit List for UG Admissions on August 10.
The colleges which are affiliated to the Mumbai University will also release their own cut-off of Mumbai University along with the merit list. The marks mentioned in the merit list are considered as the cut-off for the admission. This year due to coronavirus outbreak in the country and with the closure of schools, the colleges will be allotting provisional admission to students and will confirm the same after the submission of hard copy of their mark sheet and other certificates. The number of applications has increased almost by 25 per cent this year. The application process was extended due to heavy rains in the city until August 5, 2020.
