He further said that the technology should be leveraged to equip teachers with the necessary skills to prepare for the challenges of the future, as per the official statement.

The Ministry of Education tweeted, “Today, Hon’ble Education Minister Shri dpradhanbjp held a review meeting on teacher education with the senior officials of EduMinOfIndia & faculty of iitmadras and said that IITs provide mentorship to NITTTR for up-skilling teachers,” the Ministry of Education tweeted.

Recently, while speaking at the NEHU's 27th convocation, the Minister said, "The local languages are no less important than any other languages used in this country, be it Hindi or English. This is the main feature of this NEP. Under the new policy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mandated that all languages are national languages. So Garo, Khasi, Jaintia (local languages in Meghalaya) are national languages."

“You have studied till this point because of the society's contribution. Now the time has come to become catalysts and to be job providers ... Every student has to contribute to the society. I urge you to do something fruitful. Be a contributor,” he said.
