World University of Design (WUD) concluded its annual CULT Festival, a vibrant three-day celebration of sports, art, and design. Held at the WUD campus in Sonipat, the event brought together over 4,000 participants from more than 70 institutions across India, fostering collaboration and competition. This year’s festival celebrated the dynamic fusion of sports, arts, culture, and design, showcasing the creative spirit and diverse talents of students from various educational backgrounds.

This year’s festival, a three-day celebration of sports, art, and design, united students from diverse educational backgrounds in a series of competitive and collaborative events. By blending the competitive spirit of sports with the creative freedom of artistic expression, WUD seeks to nurture not just skilled professionals, but well-rounded individuals prepared to thrive in today’s fast-evolving world.
CULT 2024 attracted leading institutions such as Delhi University, NLU, Ashoka University, BITS Pilani, OP Jindal Global University, NIT Kurukshetra, LPU, and NIFT, reinforcing WUD’s status as a hub for interdisciplinary learning and creativity. The festival showcased impressive performances, with JIMS, Delhi, winning the Kryptic Pulse competition, SRM University excelling in the Swaranjali Indian Music (solo) category, DCRUST, Sonipat, taking home the title in Vividha Group Classical Dance, and BR Ambedkar University clinching victory in the Rapid Rhyme Battle.
Other strong contenders included Ashoka University, Amity Noida, Hansraj College, NIT Kurukshetra, and IIIT Sonipat. With prize money ranging from 40,000 to 50,000 for select events, CULT 2024 emphasized the importance of rewarding excellence and inspiring participants to elevate their performances, enhancing the overall competitive spirit.
