IIT Madras School Connect program

Indian Institute of Technology Madras has expanded its school connect program increasing number of courses offered to school students across India. Previously limited to two courses Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Electronic Systems, featuring 10 online hands on certificate courses designed for students of classes 10, 11 and 12. Registrations are open for August 2025 batch with deadline set for July 25, 2025. Schools can register and enrol their students at code.iitm.ac.in/schoolconnect. 

IIT Madras School Connect Program

This initiative empowers school students particularly those in classes 10, 11 and 12 to explore emerging fields and make informed choices about their academic and career paths. The program will be conducted in three batches during academic year: August, October and January, enabling students to enrol in up to three different courses annually.

Courses Offered Under IITM School Connect Program

Each course spans 8 weeks offering practical exposure in these subjects

  • Introduction to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
  • Introduction to Electronic Systems
  • Introduction to Architecture and Design
  • Fun with Math and Computing
  • Math Unplugged: Games and Puzzles
  • Introduction to Ecology
  • Introduction to Engineering Biological Systems
  • Introduction to Law
  • Fundamentals of Aerospace
  • Humanities Unplugged
