Jee Main 2020 admit card delayed, NTA likely to release on August 17

Release of JEE Main admit card delayed. NTA was expected to release it on August 15.

JEE Main 2020 admit card release is has been delayed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main hall ticket was expected to release the JEE Main admit card on August 15.

According to the official report, the exam authority is now expected to announce the JEE Main 2020 admit card release on August 17. JEE Main 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted between 1 to 6.

The delay of the JEE Main 2020 hall ticket release is attributed to the PILs filed in the courts as students have sent a request for postponement and some for holding the JEE Main exam as scheduled in September. The first of these cases is coming up for hearing on August 17.

Steps to download JEE Main 2020 Admit Card

• Visit the official website of JEE Main (jeemain.nta.nic.in)
• Go to the JEE Main admit card download tab
• Enter the login credentials
• JEE Main admit card will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a print out of the same

JEE Main hall ticket 2020 is an important document to be carried to the JEE main exam centre. It is also proof of the successful registration process and fee payment. 

JEE Main aspirants who are unable to produce a printed copy of the JEE Main 2020 admit card at the time of entering the examination hall will not be allowed to appear for the entrance test. JEE Main admit card will also be required at the time of the JEE Main 2020 counselling procedure.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national level entrance examination conducted twice a year. This year, the JEE Main 2020 April session was postponed due to COVID-19 epidemic in the country.  The entrance examination is now scheduled to be held from September 1 to 6 in online mode.
