The JEE Main result 2023 session 2 date is not yet declared by NTA. It is expected that JEE Main 2023 Result will be released on April 24, 2023.

NTA will publish a category-based rank list specifying the separate ranks for candidates belonging to reserved and unreserved categories respectively.

JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria marks in 12th is 75% or in the top 20 percentile of any education board.

There will be two types of JEE Main 2023 cutoffs - qualifying and admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff will be announced along with JEE Main result for phase 2 while the admission cutoff will be released during the seat allotment process by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).

NTA has opened the JEE Main form correction facility. JEE correction window 2023 is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in from April 21 to 22. Currently, correction facility is open only for making changes in the category. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification stating that the application correction window has been reopened again. However, candidates can only make changes in their category. 

The official notice of the NTA read, “Representations have been received from the candidates regarding allowing them to edit/modify their Category in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023. In view of the above and in the interest of the students, it has been decided to provide a final opportunity for the candidates for modifying their Category in the Online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2023.” 

Further the notice read, “The candidates are allowed to make the corrections in the Category only, latest by 22 April 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Thereafter, no correction whatsoever will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.” “Candidates may note that they can only modify their category (if required). The documents related to the category will be verified at the time of counselling/admission by the authority concerned. Candidates must note that the benefit of reservation will be given to them subject to verification of documents by the Counselling / Admission Authority concerned.”

Challenge JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Answer Key

After compiling the raw marks, the NTA applies the normalization formula to get the percentile scores of a candidate for each subject – Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as well as the total. The highest score of each session will get the same percentile of 100 which is ideal. The percentile score has been used for the preparation of the JEE Main merit list. The percentile scores will be calculated up to 7 decimal places to avoid ties among candidates with the same scores.

The JEE Main percentile score obtained by a candidate is determined only after applying normalization to the marks obtained by a candidate. JEE Main Percentile scores indicate the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in the examination. A percentile score is measured on a scale of 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.

A score of 30 means that a acndidate have a rank of about 600000. This means he or she has not qualified.
