The NTA is set to administer the JEE Main 2025 examination in a computer-based format. The assessment comprises three distinct papers: Paper 1 for BTech admissions, Paper 2A for BArch, and Paper 2B for BPlan.
Paper 1 will feature three sections โ Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In contrast, Paper 2A for BArch will include components in Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing. Meanwhile, Paper 2B for BPlan will focus on Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning-related questions.
This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam structure for JEE Main 2025. Notably, section B of all three papersโPaper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlanning) โ will no longer include optional questions. Instead, candidates will be required to answer 5 compulsory questions from each subject in this section, eliminating any choice or selection options.
