AEEE 2026 Application Form: The AEEE 2026 registration for the phase 2 exam are ongoing. The last date to apply for the phase 2 exam is April 15. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham accepts online AEEE application forms 2026 on the official website, aeee.amrita.edu.

AEEE 2026 registration can be done online only, and to fill AEEE application form, candidates have to complete their personal and academic profiles, fill application details, pay applicable fee, and upload scanned documents. Aspirants can apply for Amrita BTech admission 2026 via AEEE scores and also via JEE Main scores. Aspirants can also opt to apply with scores from both exams. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores, and the rest of the 30% seats are filled based on the ranks of JEE Main

What is Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP)?

Amrita University launches the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP). This portal is dedicated to candidates applying for admission to BTech courses. This is a common portal for AEEE registration, fee payment, slot booking, admit card download, result announcement and also counselling. On successful registration of AEEE, candidates get login details using which they can access the AOAP for any above-mentioned activities. The portal is hosted online at aeee.amrita.edu.

Key functions of the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP):

  • Registration & Application: Candidates create an account to fill out the application form for the AEEE .
  • Slot Booking: The portal is used to book slots for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) of AEEE.
  • Admit Card & Results: Candidates can download their admit cards and view their ranks after the entrance exams.
  • Counselling and Seat Allotment: The portal facilitates the counselling process and seat allocation for engineering and other programs.

Important instructions regarding the application fee payment:

  • The application fee can be paid online either by credit/debit card or net banking. In case the examination fee is paid through a credit card/debit card, the candidates may have to pay additional processing charges to the concerned bank.
  • Please note that fees submitted through any other mode, like money order, demand draft, IPO, etc., are not accepted for online applications.
  • Application fees once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.
  • Candidates can post their payment queries in the Query Management System in the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP) to get a faster response.

Academic Profile, documents upload, and JEE Mains scores may be entered after the publication of the results. It is not mandatory to fill the same at the time of filling out the application. Also, candidates who have appeared in Phase I of the AEEE 2026 examination can also appear for Phase II examination by paying an additional fee of INR 600. This is an opportunity given to the candidates to improve their scores.

In the AEEE application form, candidates have to fill:

AEEE 2026 Application Form Correction

Candidates must note that no separate form correction window opens for AEEE. Therefore, candidates must make any changes to the form before the final submission. However, candidates may correct/modify some of the particulars of the application data before the commencement of Seat Allotment. The name of the candidate and their parents’ names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the Class 10th Certificate. Prefix/titles such as Mr./Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs./Smt./Col etc., must not be used. The details filled in the AEEE form will be reflected in the AEEE admit card and during the admission process. Therefore, make sure all the details are correctly filled in the AEEE application process.

Also, keep in mind that requests for change in date in the form are not accepted through phone/fax/e-mail etc. The candidates are advised not to send hard copies of the online application to the University. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application, i.e., the acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence, if any. Additionally, candidates may check the status of their application online on the official website within their respective logins.

Important Points to Remember while Applying for AEEE 2026

While applying for the AEEE exam 2026, candidates have to remember the following points:

  1. The AEEE 2026 application forms are available in online mode only. There are no other modes to apply for the exam.
  2. Also, the only official website to apply for AEEE is aeee.amrita.edu.
  3. All details in the AEEE application must be correct. There will be no separate form correction window for AEEE after the forms are submitted.

Q:   I have attended AEEE phase 1 exams and also want to apply for phase 2. Do I have to re-register?
A: 

Candidates do not have to re-register from the start. However, they have to fill certain details in the form again like the exam centre, exam pereference, etc. Also, such candidates have to pay INR 600 to apply for the AEEE phase 2 exam.

Q:   When will the AEEE slot booking process start?
A: 

The AEEE 2026 phase 1 slot booking has started at aeee.amrita.edu. Only the registered candidates can select their exam slots and download the AEEE 2026 admit card.

Q:   Can I apply for all the phases of AEEE 2026?
A: 

Yes. A candidate can apply for all phases of the AEEE 2026 exam. The admission will be granted based on the best score out of all phases held. Candidate can also apply with JEE Main 2026 score and/or AEEE score for Amrita BTech admission.

Q:   I don't have my JEE Main scorecard yet, how can I apply for AEEE with JEE Main percentile?
A: 

Academic Profile, documents upload, and JEE Mains 2026 Score Card (with percentile) may be entered in the AEEE 2026 application form after the publication of the results. It is not mandatory to fill in the same at the time of filling the AEEE 2026 application.

Q:   How can I take admission in Amrita other than through AEEE?
A: 

Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.

Q:   I am applying for Amrita BTech admissions via JEE Main, but I don't have JEE Main scores now. What to do?
A: 

If at the time of filling AEEE form, candidates do not have JEE Main scores, they do not have to worry. Academic Profile, documents upload and JEE Mains scores may be entered after the publication of the results. It is not mandatory to fill the same at the time of filling out the application.

Q:   Can I apply for AEEE in offline mode?
A: 

No. AEEE 2026 registration is fully online via the portal - aeee.amrita.edu. The candidates are advised to have their own personal and valid email ID and mobile number. The candidates are advised to retain the registered mobile number and email ID they have submitted in the registration form till all the admission procedures are completed, as all important updates will be informed to the candidates through SMS/e-mail or both to the registered mobile No. /e-mail ID.

Q:   I already applied and paid fee for AEEE, but during the slot booking process there was no slot available. What do I do?
A: 

Since the slots are not available, this means all slots have been booked. In this case, the next best option is to apply for next phase of AEEE exam, if available. AEEE slot booking is done in first come first serve basis. Therefore you must book the slots as soon as the slot booking window opens. Since other candidates are also simultaneously using the same slot booking portal, sometimes the status presented may change by the time the candidate finishes making his or her selection, and the slot chosen by the candidate may not be available. In such cases, the candidate will be prompted to choose another date and slot. Hence, if your slot is not available, you will have to simply select another one, or you might get allocated a different one.

Q:   How to login at AOAP for AEEE?
A: 

Candidates can login to the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP) using their registered AEEE 2026 Mobile Number / Email Id and OTP sent to their mobile number.

Q:   What are the details needed to be filled in the AEEE application form?
A: 

Candidates have to fill in personal information, details of preferred admission channel (AEEE or JEE) and education related details in the AEEE form. Also, they need to upload documents to complete the online application process.

Q:   Is there any age limit to apply for AEEE?
A: 

Yes, there is. Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July, 2005, can apply for AEEE 2026.
