JEE Main 2026 Day 2 Exam Tomorrow; Admit Cards for All Remaining Days Available at jeemain.nta.nic.in
Day 1 of the JEE Main exam was held on April 2. The second day will be held on April 4, and the admit card to appear for the exam is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students who have their exam in the upcoming days - April 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 should download their admit card using the application number and password. Read details below.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the next JEE Mains exam on April 4, tomorrow. The exam will be held in two shifts - shift 1 (9 am to 12 noon) and shift 2 (3 pm to 6 pm). Candidates who have their exam scheduled on April 4 must download their admit card from jeemain.nta.nic.in. On the exam day, the printed copy of the hall ticket with a valid ID proof will be required for entry.
JEE Main admit card has been issued for all exam dates - April 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Using the application number and password, students can download their admit card to check their allotted exam date, shift, reporting time and other details.

NTA has already conducted day 1 of the JEE Mains session 2 exam on April 2. The exam has been rated as moderate by experts and students who took the exam. Many students said that both shifts on day 1 were easier than the January session exam. Maths has been rated moderate, Physics was also moderate, and Chemistry was the easiest of the three.
JEE Mains 2026 Exam Guidelines and Timings for Upcoming Days
For the upcoming exam days, the shift timings will be as follows:
- Shift 1 (Morning Shift): 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Shift 2 (Afternoon Shift): 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Students should follow the reporting time on the exam day and take care of the gate closing time.Β
- For shift 1, the reporting will start at 7 am, and the gates will close at 8:30 am.
- For shift 2, the reporting starts at 1 pm, and the gates close at 2:30 pm.
On the day of the exam, students should carry the following documents and items:
- Admit card along with the filled-in Self Declaration
- One passport-size photo
- Any one photo ID proof among β valid School Identity Card/ PAN card / Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/ e-Aadhaar with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
- Medical certificate (for PwD/PwBD candidates to avail scribe service)
- A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
