JEE Mains 2026 session 2 result is out now and is available as a scorecard under the respective logins of the candidates at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Mains result OUT: JoSAA Counselling Process
- Registration: Candidates have to register on the JoSAA website using JEE Main credentials.
- Choice Filling: Choice filling is to be done after completing the registration process. In this stage, candidates have to select courses and institutes of their choice.
- Seat Allotment: The JoSAA authority allots seats to candidates based on rank and choices filled by them.
- Seat Confirmation by Candidates/ Online Fee Payment/Institute Reporting: After seat allocation, candidates will have to confirm their admission by selecting the freeze/float option. If candidates select Freeze/Float option, they have to submit the college fees online, upload their documents and report to the allotted institute. In case candidates choose the slide option, they will proceed to the next round.

IIT JEE Advanced 2026 exam pattern
IIT Roorkee will conduct the JEE Advanced 2026 on May 17. The exam will consist of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2, both consisting of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. - Unique candidates: A total of 16,04,854 unique candidates registered for the exam across both sessions, with 15,38,474 unique candidates actually appearing.
