NTA has reduced the JEE 2024 Syllabus by removing several topics.  JEE Main syllabus 2024 includes NCERT class 11 and 12 topics. For Paper 2A, the syllabus includes Mathematics, Drawing, and General Aptitude while for Paper 2B, students need to study Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Planning.

NTA has started JEE Main 2024 registration for session 2 exam.

If you have already applied and paid the Examination Fee for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 and want to appear for Session 2, you need to log in with your previous Application Number and Password. Once you're logged in, you can choose the Paper, Medium of the Examination, State code of Eligibility, Cities for Session 2, educational qualification details, and pay the Examination Fees by clicking on the Application tab available in the left pane. For the candidates who qualify for admission in the NITs, IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE Main ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the Class 12 examination or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 examination conducted by respective Boards. For SC / ST candidates, the qualifying marks should be 65% in the Class 12 examination. The candidate is also required to pass in each of the subjects of Class 12 / qualifying examination. 

The result of JEE Main 2024 of the candidate(s) who indulge in Unfair means Practices will be cancelled and will not be declared. Similarly, the results of those candidates who appear from the Centre other than the one allotted to them or allow another candidate/person to write the examination on his behalf will be cancelled. No plea will be entertained in this regard.

To check their JEE Main application number, candidates can refer to their admit card. Alternatively, they can find their application number on the confirmation page of the JEE Main application form. Additionally, NTA sends an email to the candidate's registered email ID with the application number, password and other relevant details upon successful submission of the application form.

JEE Main 2024 raw score = 4 X number of correct answers - 1 X number of wrong answers

Note, that the scores that are fetched after using the answer key are the raw score. NTA will convert the raw score to percentile scores.

NTA has earlier announced that the JEE Main session 2 exam will be held from April 1 to 15. Now, NTA has revised the dates and informed that the exams will start on April 4 instead of April 1.

NTA has introduced the following two major changes in JEE Main 2024 exam:

• National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the JEE Mains 2024 Syllabus. As per the revised syllabus, several topics of class 11 and 12 have been removed from the JEE Main syllabus for the exam.
