Students Face High-Pressure as JEE Mains Results 2026 Come Amid CBSE Class 12 Board Exams
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the Class 12 board exams from Feb 17, 2026. Just one day before, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 results. The timing is severely critical for many aspirants now appearing in the upcoming CBSE board exams.
On Monday evening, the National Testing Agency announced the results of JEE Mains 2026 for over 13 lakh candidates.Β For lakhs of students, this week is very important and stressful. Many class 12 students are also JEE aspirants. While they are writing their board exams, they are also thinking about the next step. The JEE Main result decides the college admission. On the other hand, class 12 board marks are also important for IIT JEE Adv and admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Because both are important, students now have to manage emotions and focus together.
Some students who scored well in JEE Main feel motivated and confident before their board papers. But those who did not get the expected percentile may feel disappointed. Students should not lose focus on board exams because class 12 marks still matter for future admissions and backup options. This overlap in timing has created extra pressure. Students are revising for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics board papers while also discussing cut-offs, ranks and JEE Main April attempt strategy. Many are already preparing for the JEE Main session 2 along with boards.
Amid all this, students are advised to stay calm, avoid social media distractions and concentrate on one exam at a time. With board exams continuing and JEE Main Session 2 ahead, the next few weeks will be crucial for Class 12 science students across the country.
