When will JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Registration start?

The official date for the start of JEE Main 2026 session 1 registration has not been confirmed by the NTA. However, its expected that NTA will release the JEE Main application form 2026 this week.  

The National Testing Agency is expected to release the JEE Main Application form 2026 for session 1 anytime soon. Although the exact date is not known, JEE Main 2026 session 1 registration is slated to start in October, as per the official notice available on the official website.

JEE Main 2026 Application form will be released online only. The link to apply will be available on the JEE Main website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA has already activated the JEE Main 2026 registration demo link on the portal demo.nta.nic.in. Candidates can check details about JEE Main 2026 registration documents required, how to fill the form and application fee details from the demo link.

All candidates interested in applying for the JEE Mains 2026 exam must ensure their Aadhaar card is updated with all correct information. PwD/PwBD and OBC-NCL/EWS candidates also need to check their certificate is valid and updated. This is required to smooth application process and to make sure their application is not rejected.

NTA has recently issued JEE Main 2026 city allotment clarification, citing rumours that candidates will not be able to select exam city preference this year. However, NTA has rejected all the false news and informed that no such information has been officially announced.

JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. The exact exam dates for both the sessions will be announced soon.
