The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has started the NIOS 10th and 12th April-May 2026 Exam registration and fee payment. students should note that the last date for payment for exam fee and registration is December 20, 2025 without fine.
The NIOS board will soon close the registration for the NIOS Exam April-May 2026. Students have to do the registration and pay the exam fee for Class 10, 12 NIOS March-April 2026 exams. The last date to pay NIOS exam fee for those enrolled in stream 1, block 1 for March/April 2026 is Dec 20, 2025 without late fee. They can do the registration and exam fee payment from 21st December, 2025 to 31st December, 2025 with late fee of INR 150 per subject.Â
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will conduct the NIOS public exam 2026 in April-May 2026. The board will publish the NIOS time table 2026 April in March 2026 on the official website nios.ac.in. Students can check the official website and register for the NIOS block 1 exam 2026.

The last date for NIOS 12th April/May Exam fee is Jan 10, 2026 with late fee INR 1600 per learner. Students can check the details regarding the NIOS 12th exam fee payment 2026 on NIOS 12th application page. Admit card will be issue for those who paid the exam fee. Students can visit nios.ac.in for completing the fee payment process. They have to pay the fees online.
Yes, NIOS allows students who have taken admission in the Secondary level to change their subjects. Students have to pay the fees as mentioned by the NIOS. For change of subject/additional subject, students should submit their application on plain paper to the concerned Regional Centre of the NIOS through their AI. The fees for Secondary Course Rs. 720/- per subject. The subject (s) passed cannot be changed.
