Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has further extended the July cycle admission last date 2024 till September 30. Interested students can apply for IGNOU 2024 admission online at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. However, students are suggested not to wait for the IGNOU July session admission last date 2024 and apply at the earliest to avoid last-minute discrepancies. Students must know that the application last date has been extended for all programmes except for certificate and semester-based programmes.
Besides, the authorities have also provided the link to apply for scholarships at the web portal. Eligible students can apply for the Government of India scholarship on the national scholarship portal once the admissions are confirmed. Through this way, students will be able to sponsor their academics.

- Click on 'IGNOU registration' link available on the screen
- Complete the required initial registration using the necessary personal details
- Select a username and create a strong password
- Login with the designated credentials and complete IGNOU 2024 application form using academic details.
- Pay IGNOU registration fees 2024 and submit the application form.
Earlier, the IGNOU registration last date 2024 for July 2024 session was September 20. However, the authorities have extended the deadline to September 30, 2024 for students to apply for undergraduate, postgraduate, diplome and certificate courses so that maximum number of students get benefits and continue their academics.

Candidates who are selected for admission need to confirm their seat by paying the course fee. Here are few things that students will recieve after taking admission in IGNOU:
- Once a students get admission into IGNOU, he or she will recieve the enrollment number and ID for future login to the samarth portal of the university.
- Based on the choice made by the candidate while filling the application form, he or she will then recieve the study material. Soft copy is available on the official website of the university.
- Registered students also recieve a mail from the regional or study centre for counselling. It is an induction ceremony where the course is introduced to the students.
