JEE Main 2022: Check free study materials, mock tests and other helpful tips to crack exam

Books play a very important role in cracking any exam and when it comes to JEE Main, students have to be very careful about the books and right study materials they study. The selection of the right study material and books for JEE Main preparation is something every aspirant finds trouble in. The Internet and open market is loaded with an abundance of books and study materials with each claiming to be the best over the others.

To students' surprise, the National Testing Agency (NTA), the organizing body of JEE Main, provides free of cost study materials in the form of video lectures to help prepare for the exam. Not only study materials, but NTA also has a series of mock tests which students can practice without any cost to prepare for the exam.

Where to get free study material for JEE Main 2022 preparation

The series of free video lectures for JEE Main preparation is available at the NTA website nta.ac.in. Students can watch these videos online or can also download them. The video lectures are prepared by eminent subject experts and professors from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) as well as faculties of other reputed institutes.

The videos cover the entire JEE Main syllabus and are available topic-wise for every unit of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. As the videos had been prepared by subject experts, they are easy to understand and can be really helpful in understanding the basic concepts.

Where to get free NTA Mock Test for JEE Main 2022

National Testing Agency also provides free JEE Main mock tests to help students become familiar with the computer-based test and analyze their preparation level for the exam. Students can solve these mock tests online from the NTA website. The mock tests can also be downloaded to practice on a laptop/computer. NTA also has test practice centres where students can go to practice the mock tests however, the facility of these centres is currently not available due to COVID restrictions.

The mock tests of JEE Main by NTA are of the same difficulty level as the real exam and cover the entire JEE Main syllabus. Students can use these mock tests to understand the difficulty level of the exam as well as for analyzing their exam preparation level.

JEE Main Preparation Tips by Experts

Experts suggest that students should solve JEE Main previous year papers and mock tests regularly as it's an effective way to test their preparation. Previous year papers are also a great source of information about subject-wise weightage and topics that had been covered in the exam in past years. Another important tip by experts is that students should cover the entire JEE Main syllabus and not leave any topic from any subject.

JEE Main 2022 Latest Update

The NTA reopened JEE Main application form 2022 on April 18 for the session 1 exam. Students who missed the last date to apply earlier can fill the application form up to April 25. The registration process for session 2 will open tentatively in the first week of May.

NTA had also rescheduled the exam dates of both sessions of JEE Main 2022. The session 1 exam will now be held from June 20 to 29 while session 2 will be conducted from July 21 to 30.
