Delhi University to Offer MA in Journalism in Both Hindi and English Departments

Delhi University will introduce an MA Journalism programme in the Hindi and English departments of the university. The university has recently launched the studio in the Journalism department of DU's South Campus and announced that the university will begin a PG Diploma in Journalism.
Delhi University (DU) has announced the expansion of journalism education by introducing a two-year MA in Journalism program in both Hindi and English departments. The university will introduce an MA Journalism programme in the Hindi and English departments of the university. This announcement has made a significant development for journalism education at Delhi University with an aim to cater to the growing demand for journalism education in India.
The university has further launched the studio in the Journalism department of DU's South Campus and announced that the university will begin a PG Diploma in Journalism. The inauguration of a state-of-the-art media studio at the Journalism Department of DU’s South Campus will help students to gain practical exposure and hands-on learning experiences.
During the event, DU Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh highlighted the university's plans to also offer full-fledged postgraduate degree programs. The university has made an expert committee to launch these new programmes and to design the curriculum and programme structure. The approval to offer MA in Hindi Journalism and MA in English Journalism has been granted.
The university aims to expand its professional education by offering students the skills needed for a rapidly evolving media enterprise. The introduction of MA Journalism programs in both Hindi and English is envisioned to broaden academic and career options for students across linguistic backgrounds.
