IIM Lucknow's Enterprise Incubation Centre (EIC) has welcomed a new and innovative startup, ProntoStart, which seeks to transform the way students prepare for competitive examinations while completing their college education. Founded by Mayank Nalin, Mihir M Shingala, and Abhishek Singh, alongside Mitrapal Aswal, an expert in civil services preparation, ProntoStart is designed to integrate preparation for competitive exams with students' academic schedules, eliminating the need for a career break.
New Approach to Competitive Exam Preparation
ProntoStart’s core idea is simple yet powerful – to provide a seamless experience for students aspiring for competitive exams like civil services, while also completing their college degree programs. In a traditional system, students often face a dilemma of taking a break from their studies to prepare for these exams. However, ProntoStart plans to eliminate this gap by allowing students to simultaneously prepare for competitive exams and complete their academic coursework.
As per Mitrapal Aswal, co-founder of ProntoStart, “The idea behind our startup is to integrate competitive exam preparations with college curricula. We aim to offer a solution that will allow students to continue with their education while also working towards securing a future in competitive examinations, particularly civil services.”
Saving Precious Years of Youth

The institute has not released the 2024 lowest package details. However, the highest, average, and median packages have been released officially. As per reports, the highest package offered during IIM Lucknow placements 2024 was INR 1.23 crore per annum and was made to PGP and PGP ABM students. For PGP SM, the highest package stood at INR 45.37 LPA. Alongside this, the highest average package was offered to PGP and PGP ABM students and the amount stood at INR 30 LPA. The highest median package also stood for PGP & PGP ABM batch 2022-24 and the amount offered was INR 27 LPA.
