IIM Calcutta Final Placements 2025: Top Recruiters and Sector-wise Placement Overview

The consulting sector dominated the placement season, with a total of 201 offers (37.3%) extended to IIM Calcutta graduates. Leading firms in this sector included Boston Consulting Group (BCG), which emerged as the top recruiter in the management consulting cohort, and Accenture Strategy, the top recruiter in the strategy consulting space. Other notable consulting firms that participated in the recruitment process included McKinsey & Company, Kearney, Alvarez & Marsal, Arthur D Little, Auctus Advisors, EY-Parthenon, Monitor Deloitte, TCS, KPMG, PwC, and Vector Consulting.

The payments and card industry also saw significant participation, with American Express emerging as the top recruiter in this cohort, followed by Mastercard. This highlights the growing demand for IIM Calcutta graduates in the finance and fintech sectors.

Strong Participation from Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Venture Capital

The financial sector, particularly in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and Venture Capital, saw substantial interest this year. A total of 114 offers (21%) were made in these areas, with participation from prestigious firms such as Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Citi, Barclays, UBS, HSBC, BNP Paribas, Moelis, Elevation Capital, DE Shaw, Claypond Capital, and many others.

Technology Sector Sees Robust Interest with 78 Offers Extended
