Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the Karnataka PGCET 2025 for MBA and MCA programmes on June 22. KEA has earlier released Karnataka PGCET dress code for both male and female candidates to ensure fair conduct of the exam and avoid hassles on the exam day. Candidates may not be allowed inside the Karnataka PGCET exam centre if they fail to abide by the KEA dress code for males and females.

Male candidates appearing for the Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam must wear half-sleeved shirts and trousers with minimal or no pockets. KEA will not allow candidates to appear at the test centre wearing full-sleeved shirts, kurtas, and jeans. Shirts must not have any zip pockets, large buttons, or embroidery. Additionally, a simple and light coloured shirt is preferable. Besides the clothing, candidates must avoid shoes inside the exam hall and are advised to wear sandals or flat slippers. Wearing metal jewellery, including rings, chains, and bracelets, is not permitted.
Female candidates must avoid wearing clothes with embroidery, flowers, brooches, or buttons. As per the Karnataka PGCET dress code and exam day guidelines, female candidates can wear half-sleeved clothes. Similar to the male candidates, females must also avoid jeans. High-heeled footwear and shoes are not allowed. One can wear thin-soled slippers or sandals while coming to the Karnataka PGCET exam centre 2025. In addition to clothing and footwear, any kind of metal accessories, such as jewellery is prohibited. However, Mangalasutra and toe rings will be allowed.
Candidates must also not wear any kind of caps, hats or masks while appearing for the Karnataka PGCET 2025 exam.
All candidates must follow the Karnataka PGCET 2025 dress code rules strictly. Those who fail to comply will not be allowed to enter the PGCET test centre on June 22.
