FET 2025 exam date has been released, i.e March 14, 2026. Other dates wil be released soon. As per previous year trends, authorities might begin FET registration tentatively in December 2025. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release FET 2025 notification anytime soon. Students need to visit official website at natboard.edu.in to fill application form. NBE will release FET important dates and other detail soon.

 Applicants who will appear for the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) for admission to various fellowship programs will have to check their qualifying status. The FET 2025 result will be released in PDF format, which comprises details such as cutoff scores out of 400 and information about fellowship courses, such as roll number, application number, and qualifying status. Students who score 50 percentile will be declared qualified for FET exam.

Students who scored the minimum cut off are declared qualified for the exam. Those who qualified for the exam will be able to download the scorecard online. The FET scorecard can be downloaded by providing a login ID and password. It must be noted only the qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the FET 2025 counselling process.

What is FET?

NBE conducts the Fellowship Entrance Test (FET). The entrance exam is conducted for providing admission to the 2-year post-doctoral FNB courses. It is qualifying-cum-ranking examination and is the only entrance test for admission to Fellow of National Board (FNB) Courses, Fellow of National Board – Post Doctoral (FNB-PD), Fellowship Programme for International Students (FPIS). FET is conducted annually in computer-based mode.

Q:   What is the difference between FET and FNB?

FET or Fellowship Entrance Test is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission in various fellowship programmes offered under NBE. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is the authority of conducting FET, which is an entrance exam for admission to a Post-Doctoral FNB programme/course. Q:   Will FET result be valid for next year?
A: 

No. FET 2025 result will not valid for next year. It is valid for that particular session only. NBE, the exam conducting body will announce result for FET 2025 online. The result will be uploaded separately for each speciality. Candidates who will score the minimum cut off will be declared qualified for the exam.

FET 2025 Admission Process

Admission to FNB courses will be on the basis of FET 2025 merit list only. Seats will be allocated through a centralised counselling process. The admission process starts with the release of FET application form. Students who submit application form successfully will be issued FET admit card. The admit card will be released online. Thereafter, students have to appear for FET exam. Students are advised to check FET exam pattern to know more about examination. Result of entrance test is released online, and students will be able to download it online from official website of NBE.

FET 2025 Admit Card

The FET 2025 admit card will be released in online mode only. All the students who filled application form correctly will be issued an FET hall ticket 2025. Applicants after downloading admit card must check for details mentioned in it. if there is any error in admit card then he/she must contact to authorities immediately and get the corrections done. 

FET Exam Day Guidelines

  • The location and other details about the test centre will be given on the admit card of FET 2025
  • Candidates are advised to visit the exam centre one day before the examination to familiarise themselves with the facilities available at the centre
  • They have to reach the exam centre at the 'reporting time' given on their admit card
  • All test takers will have to undergo security procedures and are thus requested to cooperate with the security personnel
  • Friends or relatives accompanying the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall
  • Candidate must carry a valid and non-expired ID proof on the day of the examination
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall past 8:30 am

NBE will release FET 2025 results on its website at nbe.edu.in. The result will be uploaded in PDF format for each specialty. It will comprise details such as application number, roll number, marks scored, and merit position. It must be noted that students who score minimum cut off marks will be declared qualified for the exam. Qualified students can download score card with their login ID and password. Yes. After result announcement, a merit list will be released by NBE. A separate merit list will be released for each speciality. The merit shall be generated strictly on the basis of marks obtained by the student and application of the prescribed tie breaking criteria. A merit based counselling will be held for FET seat allotment.
