FET 2025 application form will be released online by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Students must register on the official website, nbe.edu.in, to access and submit the application form. The last date to submit FET 2025 registration will be notified in notification only.  As part of registration students have to submit the basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number. A login ID and password will be sent to registered email ID and mobile number after successful registration. After registration is over NBE will open edit window. Students will have to edit details in the application form for FET 2025 till mentioned date in notification. The FET exam is tentatively held in February 2025.

FET 2025 application process involves steps such as registration, filling details in the application form, uploading documents as per the format, paying exam fee etc. NBE will release FET admit card for candidates who apply successfully and fulfill all other eligibility criteria. NBE will upload the FET admit card in online mode.

FET 2025 Application Form - Documents Required

Students will have to upload all enclosures in the application form for FET 2025. The documents must be uploaded online to complete FET application form 2025:

Passport-sized photograph

  • Photograph must not be older than six months.
  • It should be clicked against a white background.
  • Image size should be less than 80 kb.
  • Student name and date of capturing should be mentioned at bottom.

Scanned copy of a signature

  • Signature should be in blue/black ink on a white background.
  • The size of images should be less than 80 kb.
  • Signature must not be in capital letters.
  • There should not be any overwriting.

Scanned copy of thumb impression

  • Recent impression on a white background.

Q:   What is the registration fee for FET 2024?
A: 

Candidates will have to pay the registration fee of INR 3,500 for FET 2024 exam. The registration fee is mandatory to submit application form for FET 2024. It must be noted the above menioned fee is non refundable. Once paid the fee can't be refunded in any case. FET 2024 application form process starts with online registration, followed by filling details in the application, uploading documents in right format and size, paying exam fee etc. 

Q:   Has application form released for FET ?
A: 

No. NBE has not released FET 2025 application form so far. The registration and other crucial dates will be released along with the official information brochure. Candidates will have to register online to submit FET 2025 application form. The last adte to submit FET 2025 application form will be notified in brouchre. It must be noted offline or any mode of application will not be accepted. 

Q:   Do I need to upload image of signature to submit FET application form?
A: 

Yes. Candidates have to upload scaned image of signature to submit FET application form. Additionally, they have to upload images of thumb impression and passport size photograph as well. All these images must be uploaded as per the size and format. It must be noted, candidates who don't upload images as per the format, their application might be rejected. NBE will release application form for FET most likley in the third week of July, 2024.

How to Register For FET 2025

Students who wish to apply for FET 2024 have to register themselves on the official webpage of NBE. Thereafter, upload documents, such as photograph and signature. Pay a non-refundable registration fee online. Only after the payment, registration will be successful.

Therefore, the FET application process can be divided in seven steps, the process for each has been elaborated below.

Online Registration

  • Go to the official website, nbe.edu.in
  • Select ‘FET’
  • Click on ‘New Registration’
  • Complete the FET registration form
  • Enter the following details
    • Applicant’s name
    • Date of birth
    • Gender
    • Nationality
  • Enter a valid email ID and mobile number
  • Submit the FET 2023 registration form

Generation of User ID and password

After submission of FET registration form successfully, the system will generate a user ID and password for each applicant. These credentials will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number of students.

Filling the application form

  • Using the login credentials, sign in to the account created on the official website of NBE
  • Fill in the necessary details to complete the application form
    • Personal Details
      • Father’s name
      • Mother’s name
      • Person with disability (Yes/No)
      • Identification details (Aadhaar card/driving licence, passport, etc.)
    • Communication details
    • Qualification Details
      • PG medical qualification details
      • SMC/MCI registration details
      • MBBS/primary medical qualification details

Uploading photograph and signature

students must upload the scanned images of recent passport-sized photograph, signature and thumb impression.

Choosing the test city

After uploading the documents, candidates must select the city that they wish to choose as their exam centre. FET 2024 will have the following test city options

  • Delhi
  • Mumbai
  • Kolkata
  • Chennai

Payment of the FET application fee

Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of 3,500 to complete the process. The FET 2024 application fee can be paid in an online mode only. The only payment options for FET application fee are credit card and net banking.

Taking a print out of the final application form

Once the FET 2024 application form gets successfully submitted, candidates should save a copy of the final application for future reference.

FET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria of FET are important for students to know who wants to apply for the exam. 

Educational Qualification: Students need to be in possession of a recognized postgraduate medical Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate (MD/MS/DM/MCh/ DNB/DrNB) by December 31, 2025. The cutoff date for qualifying MD/MS/DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB qualification towards the determination of eligibility for appearing in FET 2025 shall be December 31, 2025. 

Age Qualification: There is no upper age limit for training in NBEMS Fellowship courses.

According to age wise qualification students must note that there is no age limit for FET application form. This FET eligibility criteria is same for both national and international students. 

Q:   Who are eligible for FET?
A: 

Students must possess a postgraduate medical degree (MD/ MS/ DM/ MCh/ DNB) in relevant specialty from a recognised institute. Those who complete postgraduate degree qualification on or before cut off deadline will be eligible for FET 2025. Candidates must note there is no upper or lower age limit for candidates applying for FET 2025. He/ she must possess a permanent registration certificate from Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

No. Candidates are not allowed to apply offline for FET. NBE releases application form for the exam online. Candidates have to complete the whole application process online. The application process for FET starts with online registration, followed by filling details in the application form, uploading documents in right size and format, choosing exam centre, and paying exam fee. The application form doesn't get submitted till exam fee is paid. NBE will release an official information brochure comprising crucial dates and details such as eligibility, pattern, marking scheme etc.

Q:   Will NBE send FET admit card to individual candidate?
A: 

No. NBE will not send FET admit card to candidates. They will have to download the admit card online. The admit card link will be activated on the official website NBE. Edu. In. Candidates can download the hall ticket for FET exam by providing details such as application ID and password. It must be noted that admit card can be downloaded any number of times till exam day. But candidates are advised to download it in advance to avoid any last minute technical glitches. 

Q:   Will FET exam be held in pen and paper mode?
A: 

FET 2025 exam will be conducted in computer-based mode on. The official exam dates are not released yet and it will be updated on the page. The question paper comprised 100 questions and candidates will be given given 105 minutes to answer them. All the questions are multiple choice type. Negative marking is not there in the exam. 

Q:   What is exam pattern for FET?
A: 

FET exam pattern is released along with the official information brochure. The exam pattern comprises crucial details related to exam including mode and medium of exam, total number of questions asked, allotted time, and marking scheme. According to the existing pattern for FET, the exam will be held in computer-based mode for admission to fellowship courses. The medium of the exam will be English. The question paper will comprise 100 multiple choice questions divided into two parts A & B. Candidates will be provided 105 minutes to answer them. There is a provision of the negative marking in the exam.
