FET 2024 Result (Released) : Check How to Download Scorecard & Rank List

Candidates can download the FET result 2024 by following the steps given below.

Steps to download the result of FET 2023:

• Go to the official website of NBE
• Click on ‘FET’ on the home page
• Select ‘FET 2024 Result’ under the important announcement section
• The result PDF will open on the screen
• Use Ctrl+F to search for your roll number
• Check the result and save a copy for future reference

The FET scorecards provide more information as compared to the result PDF. FET result 2024 mentions only important information indicating the merit status of the candidate. The following details can be found in the FET 2024 result PDF:

• Fellowship course
• FET 2024 roll number
• Score obtained (out of 400)
• Fellowship course specific merit position

Qualifying percentile is the minimum percentile score required to become eligible for admission to FNB courses. To qualify the examination, candidates need to score more than or equal to 50^th percentile. Candidates who do not qualify FET 2024 will not be eligible for admission to FNB courses.

Validity of FET Result 2024 and Pass Certificate

The result of FET 2024 will be valid for that particular session only. It cannot be carried forward to the next year or be used to take admission to the FNB courses next year.

FET Result 2024: Tie-Breaker Criteria

Sometimes two or more candidates end up securing equal marks in the FET 2024. However, such candidates need to have different ranks in the merit list. To decide which candidate should be ranked higher in such cases, NBE has tie-breaking criteria in place. The following protocol is followed to resolve ties while preparing the FET 2023 result:

1. Those candidates with fewer negative responses in the entire paper will be ranked higher
2. If the number of negative responses is the same, the candidate who has scored more marks in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher
3. If marks obtained in Part B are equal, the candidate who has marked fewer negative responses in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher
4. If the number of negative responses in Part B is equal, the candidate who is older in age will be ranked higher

The cutoff for FET 2024 will be released along with the results. NBE will upload FET 2024 cut off marks for various specialties according to the merit list prepared.

FET cut off can be revised by the competent authority if the number of qualified candidates is less in number than the number of seats available. Candidates can refer to the table below for FET 2023 cutoff.

FET 2024 Result: What Next?

Admission to the FNB courses will be based on the marks obtained in the FET 2024 and the resultant merit list. FET counselling 2024 will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The counselling of FET 2024 will be a centralised merit-based admission process.
