The Kerala NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 has been commenced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. The option registration or choice filling process opened on September 11, 2024, and the last date for the same is September 18, 2024, 11.59 PM.

The provisional and final seat allotment result will be declared on September 19 and September 20, 2024, respectively. The second round of Kerala NEET 2024 counselling will conclude on September 26, 2024. This page brings the complete schedule and process of option registration and choice filling.

  How to Submit or Register Options for Kerala NEET 2024 Counselling

Candidates willing to register options or submit choices will have to follow the steps given below:

  • Visit the official website of Kerala NEET 2024 counselling – cee.kerala.gov.in
  • Click on the KEAM 2024 Candidate Portal
  • Enter Application Number, Password and Access Code
  • Click on the Option Registration tab
  • Enter as many MBBS and BDS seat options as desired
  • Pay the option registration fee of INR 5,000 in online mode

Those admitted candidates who wish to vacate the seats received through first phase allotment can vacate the seats on or before 18.09.2024, 5.00 PM, such candidates will not be considered for further rounds of centralised allotment to MBBS/BDS courses.

CEE Kerala has also released the first allotment result for the Ayurveda/ Homoeopathy /Siddha/Unani courses. As many as 1,865 candidates have been allotted seats.

They have to report to the allotted institutes between September 12 and September 18, 2024.  The dates for the third round of Kerala NEET 2024 CEE Kerala will announce counselling based on the number of vacant seats.

Q: Β  What is the schedule for Kerala NEET counselling 2025?
A:

The schedule for the Kerala NEET counselling 2025 is announced separately for each round. The Kerala NEET 2025 counselling registration process was conducted from February to March 2025, and the window was reopened after the NEET 2025 result declaration. The provisional rank lists were released on July 25, 2025. In general, the overall duration of Kerala NEET UG counselling is three to four months. 

Q: Β  What is the minimum rank required to get an MBBS seat through Kerala NEET counselling?
A:

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 10,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good medical college in Kerala. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Commissioner of Entrance Exam (CEE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Kerala NEET. 

Q: Β  When will Kerala NEET counselling cutoff release?
A:

The Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) Kerala, or the counselling authority for Kerala NEET counselling, will release the Kerala NEET 2025 cutoff after the conclusion of the counselling process. Moreover, after each round of counselling, a seat allotment list and merit list will be released, which will indicate the lowest rank or score at which a seat was offered, based on which the round-wise Kerala NEET cutoff can be calculated.
