NEET PG Registration Process Should Begin 3-6 Months Before Exam: Reveals Shiksha Poll
The release date for the NEET PG application form has become a subject of considerable discussion among medical aspirants. According to a recent poll conducted by Shiksha.com, 36% of applicants believe that the registration process should begin three months prior to the examination. While 39% of candidates are of the opinion that registrations should commence six months ahead of the scheduled exam date.
The National Board of Examination in Medical Science (NBEMS) has announced the NEET PG 2025 exam date on the official website. As per the authorities, NBE will conduct the NEET PG exam 2025 in two shifts on June 15, 2025. NBE is expected to release the NEET PG application form 2025 anytime soon on the official website. Students will be able to complete the NEET PG 2025 registration from the online web portal i.e. natboard.edu.in.
Meanwhile, the authorities will release NEET PG 2025 information brochure and notification at the web portal. The Information brochure will contain several details about the examination including NEET PG important dates, exam fee, eligibility criteria, exam scheme, how to apply, exam centres, admit card details, exam day guidelines and other vital information about the examination.
With nearly two months remaining for the entrance examination, the NEET PG registration 2025 start date is a point of discussion among students and stakeholders. Candidates consider early registration as beneficial because it gives them time to focus on studies without having the tension of filling the application form. Besides, in case any technical, administrative disruption occurs, the timeline still holds on the part of the examination-conducting body.
Nevertheless, the authorities are expected to release the NEET PG application form 2025 anytime soon. Students who are appearing for the entrance examination shall keep their documents ready as the registration process will begin shortly.
In a recent turn of events, PIB has clarified that the NEET PG 2025 postponement news is false and the examination will be conducted in two shifts on June 15, 2025.

Yes. NEET PG 2025 registration dates were announced. Registration began on April 17, 2025. May 7 was the deadline to submit application form. Candidates have to register first to submit application form on the official website. After successful registration, application ID and password is sent on the email ID and registered mobile number. After registration, candidates have to login, fill personal and academic details, choose exam centre, and pay exam fee to complete the application process.
Application fee and other details is released by NBE. The fee remains the same as it was last year. In 2024, the application fee was reduced by INR 750 for each category. With reduced fee, candidates had to pay INR 3500 for general category while for SC/ST candidates had to pay INR 2500. Earlier candidates had to pay INR 4200 application fee for general category. It must be noted that paying exam fee is mandatory to submit NEET PG 2025 application form.
