Indian Air Force will soon be closing AFCAT 1 application window for 340 vacancies. Candidates who are yet to apply online for IAF AFCAT must complete registration online at official website afcat.cdac.in. Last date to complete AFCAT application for Flying, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches is December 14, 2025. Also, AFCAT 1 application fee is common for all categories and has to be paid online when filling online form.

- Register for AFCAT
- Log in with email and password
- Fill up application form

How to check payment status after paying AFCAT 1 Application Form 2026?
Once payment has been paid, the system shows AFCAT registration number. This shows that IAF AFCAT 1 application payment is successful. Candidates must verify information entered in application form before proceeding with 'Make Payment' option. Applicants will not be able to edit previous details entered after selection of 'Course Preferences' and after 'Make Payment' step. No cash or cheque or demand draft (DD) is accepted. AFCAT application fee can be paid using credit/ debit cards/ net banking through the payment gateway.
Candidates need to select the AFCAT test city while filling the application form. They can select five test cities. Exam is conducted in more than 100 cities. Candidates are advised to select the test cities close to their place.
Once the payment process is successful, the system displays the AFCAT registration number. This means that the payment is successful. Candidates must verify the correction of information entered in the application form before proceeding with the 'Make Payment' option. Applicants will not be able to edit the previous details entered after the selection of 'Course Preferences' step and after the 'Make Payment' step. No cash or cheque or demand draft (DD) is accepted towards payment of examination fee. The examination fee can be paid using credit/ debit cards/ net banking through the payment gateway. Applicants are advised to follow the instructions/ steps given on the payment gateway, and also print/keep the transaction details for their records. After confirmation from bank that the payment is received, the 'Payment Status' display 'Registration Number' which the candidate may note down for future correspondence. Simultaneously, candidates also receive a confirmatory sms/ e-mail.
