The updated document of CTET 2025 FAQs addresses queries and concerns raised by aspiring candidates ahead of the upcoming examination.

CTET 2025 is a national-level eligibility test for individuals aspiring to teach classes I to VIII in schools across India. With lakhs of candidates appearing for the exam annually, the release of the CTET 2025 FAQs is an important resource for clarifying the application process, eligibility norms, exam pattern, and post-result procedures.

Q: After qualifying for the CTET, am I eligible for getting the Job?

A: Qualifying CTET would not confer a right on any person for Recruitment/Employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Q: What is the number of attempts a candidate can avail for CTET?

A: Till now, there is no limit on the number of attempts to appear in CTET.

Q: What is the validity period of CTET certificate?

A: Earlier, as per guidelines framed by NCTE, the validity period was 7 years, but now “The Validity period of TET qualifying certificate for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the appropriate Government, would remain valid for life.

Q: What is the CTET Information Bulletin?

A: Information Bulletin is an official document published by CBSE on the CTET website, having all the important information relating to CTET.

Q: How many Papers are there in one CTET?

A: There are two Papers in each CTET Paper 1: For Classes I to V, Paper II: For Classes VI to VIII. If a candidate intends to teach classes from I-VIII, he/she has to appear in both Papers.

Q: If a candidate passed D.EL.ED, B.Ed. or any other teaching education. Will the CTET certificate be valid for government jobs, or have to reappear in the CTET exam again?

A: The eligibility shall be finally verified by the concerned recruiting agency/appointing authority.
