UGC NET exam date 2020 to release soon, applications to end next week

UGC NET exam dates 2020 will be announced soon, said Ramesh Pokhriyal, the Union Human Resource Development Minister while interacting with students across India through a webinar. During the one-hour long webinar, Pokhriyal addressed various concerns and queries of students related to entrance exams, online education, fellowships, etc. Pokhriyal also announced the JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020 exam dates.

The UGC NET application form 2020 filling process is currently underway. Earlier, the application process for the exam was scheduled to end on April 16. However, due to the emergent situation arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, the last date to fill the UGC NET application form was extended to May 16. Whether the UGC NET registration dates will be extended again due to the nation-wide lockdown is yet to be seen.

As per the initial schedule, the UGC NET 2020 exam was scheduled to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from June 15-20. Currently, the wait for the revised UGC NET exam date is on.
