CUET 2023 Exam Day Live Updates

The Mathematics section was of easy to moderate level of difficulty. The topics covered were Matrices, Integration, Probability Distribution, Linear Programming, Differential Equations, etc.

The difficulty level of the Chemistry section was of moderate to tough difficulty level. Similar to Day 1 and Day 2, Organic Chemistry had the highest weightage followed by Inorganic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. Some of the topics included D and F Block Elements, P Block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, among others.

The Physics section was of easy to moderate difficulty level. The major topics covered in this exam were Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electrostatics, Current & Current Electricity, Optics, among others.

As per the official data, CUET 2023 Day 3 was scheduled to be taken by 1,48,026 candidates. 73.33 per cent attendance has been recorded.

The CUET 2023 Day 3 has concluded on May 23, at 6.30 PM. 

CUET 2023 exam for Day 3 Shift 3 is underway. As many as 93,283 candidates are appearing in this shift conducted at 472 exam centres across 272 cities. 75 per cent attendance has been recorded. 

According to the student reactions for Shift 2, the questions were on Political Science, History and Current Affairs. The questions were of easy to moderate difficulty level. The questions were on Indian Prime Ministers and their year of appointment, NATO Agreement, year of EVM launch, etc.

According to the student reactions, the CUET 2023 Day 3 English Test was of easy difficulty level. There were a total of 15 questions from Reading Comprehension. Five questions each were asked from three passages. While the first two passages were of 250-300 words, the third passage was lengthy, around 400-500 words. Questions from the first two passages were direct and easy in nature. The third passage questions were indirect and tricky. Other questions from the English Test were on Vocabulary (word meaning), synonym-antonym, one-word substitution, meaning of foreign words, grammar and Letter Writing format. The questions from Grammar were on Articles, Preposition, Error Spotting and Sentence Arrangement.

Based on the analysis of Slot 1 and Slot 2 of the General Test, it has been observed that the Numerical Ability section saw a high weightage in the Percentage chapter. Other chapters or topics from which questions were asked were Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Coding-Decoding and Series. 

The third and final slot exam for CUET 2023 has begun at 3.30 PM. The statistics of the exam will be announced soon. 

CUET 2023 Day 3 final slot is slated to begin soon. The entry gates have been closed at 3.15 PM, 15 minutes prior to the exam commencement. The third slot will be of three-hour duration and will be on the Domain subjects opted for by candidates. 

The entry process for the CUET 2023 Day 2 third slot begins at 2.15 PM. Entry gates at the exam centres will close in an hour.

The second slot of CUET 2023 Day 3 has ended at 2 PM. Meanwhile, candidates slated to appear for the third and final slot of the day have already started reaching the centres. 

According to the UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, the CUET 2023 Day 3 Slot is going well in 287 cities across 246 cities. As many as 34,240 candidates have appeared for the exam, marking 69 per cent attendance.

The CUET 2023 Day 3 Slot 2 has begun at 12 noon. The two-hour duration exam will conclude at 2 PM. 

The entry gates have closed for the CUET 2023 Day 3 Slot 2 candidates at 11.30 AM. The second slot exam will commence sharp at 12 noon and conclude at 2 PM. 

According to UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, CUET 2023 Day 3 Slot 1 was conducted in 234 cities and 283 centres. The total number of candidates scheduled in shift 1 was 20,503 recording an attendance of 76 per cent.

CUET 2023 Day 3 first slot has been concluded at 10.30 AM of May 23. Candidates will start leaving the exam hall soon. The sections tested in this slot were Language and General Test.

The first slot of CUET 2023 Day 3 exam will be concluding in half an hour. The two-hour window test will conclude at 10.30 AM.

The CUET 2023 admit card for the second phase has been released on May 23. The dates for which the second phase admit card of CUET 2023 has been released is May 25 to May 29.

The Slot 1 of the CUET 2023 exam of the third day has commenced at 8.30 AM on May 23. 

A candidate who appeared for CUET 2023 Day 2 complained that he could not change the medium of the General Test to Hindi, which he had opted for.

As of now, no technical glitch has been reported for the CUET 2023 Day 2 exam.

There is no dress code for CUET 2023. However, NTA has advised candidates not to wear garments with big buttons and shoes with thick soles.

Aadhaar Number is necessary for a successful Biometric check-in. Hence, it is advised that candidate carry their Aadhaar Card as their valid photo identity card.

According to the student reactions and expert review, the overall difficulty level of the CUET 2023 Day 3 was moderate to tough. The Language and General Test was easy to moderate level. On the other hand, the domain subjects were moderate to tough. 

The CUET 2023 third day has concluded with the Shift 3 getting over at 6.30 PM. Candidates appeared for their opted-for domain subjects in this slot. 

As the CUET 2023 Day 3 Slot 3 is in progress, UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has given the statistics for this shift. This slot has the highest number of candidates as compared to the first two slots, which is 91,895. The exam is in progress in 260 cities and 450 centres. 75 per cent attendance is recorded. 

The first two slots of the CUET 2023 Day 2 were conducted on English and General Test sections. The overall difficulty level of these slots was easy to moderate. The English section saw three passages that were of an easy level of difficulty. One of the passages was on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, one was a poem-based Reading Comprehension. However, the passages were lengthy. There were four to five questions on Vocabulary and two to three questions on Synonym-Antonym. 

From the General Test, Current affairs questions were on G20 Summit, Sports, Business, Literature, etc. The static GK questions were on History, Geography and Literature. The weightage of Numerical or Quantitative Ability was lesser than that of Day 1. The topics of the Numerical Ability questions was Interest, Percentage, Profit & Loss, etc. 

The third and final slot of CUET 2023 Day 3 has begun at 3.30 PM. The duration of this slot is three hours. 

The CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 3 exam entry gates close at 3.15 PM. The exam will be based on domain subjects. The exam is going to commence in 15 minutes. 

The CUET 2023 Shift 2 has been taken by 58,338 candidates in 386 centres located across 264 cities. According to UGC Chairman, 79 per cent attendance has been recorded in this shift.

The entry process for CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 3 has begun at 2.45 PM. The entry gates will be open till 3.15 PM, 15 minutes prior to the exam commencement time.  

CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 2 ends at 2 PM. The entry process for the third slot will be starting soon. 

The CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 2 exam is ending in half an hour. Candidates have to ensure that they complete all the questions and revise properly before submitting the test. 

According to the UGC Chairman, the CUET 2023 admit card for the Phase 2 (May 25-May 29) tests is expected to be released today. The admit cards for the CUET 2023 exams dated May 21 to May 24 was released on May 19. 

According to UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, 2,65,248 candidates appeared for CUET 2023 Day 1. The exam was conducted in 447 centres across 271 cities. The total attendance recorded across the three shifts was 76 per cent.

The CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 2 begins at 12 noon. Like the first slot, this slot will also be of two-hour duration and will test candidates' Language Skills and General Knowledge through the General Test. 

The entry gates for the CUET 2023 Day 2 second slot close at 11.30 AM. Some latecomers request the exam officials to allow them entry, but they have not complied. 

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has shared the statistics of the CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 1 exam. The first shift was held in 261 cities and 415 centres. As many as 74,342 candidates appeared for this slot. 

The CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 2 entry process begins at 11 AM, an hour prior to the exam timing. 

As per the CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 1 student reactions and review, the questions were similar to yesterday. The difficulty level was easy to moderate. 

The CUET 2023 Slot 1 of the second day concluded at 10.30 AM. Candidates have to submit their CUET 2023 admit card, Self Declaration Undertaking and rough sheets before the leave the exam hall.

The CUET 2023 General Test has been termed moderate to tough. The weightage was more on the Numerical Ability or Quantitative Ability area. The difficulty level was slightly high in this area, but the questions were manageable.

According to the CUET 2023 Day 1 analysis, Physics was of moderate to tough difficulty level. Modern Physics had the highest weightage. 

Based on yesterday's CUET 2023 English Test analysis, the questions were based on Reading Comprehension and the types of questions were direct from the passage, and others were vocabulary and synonym-antonym, idioms and phrases and basic grammatical based. The questions of Grammar were on Active Passive, Types of Speech, Tenses, etc.

The first slot for the CUET 2023 Day 2 has begun on May 22, 8.30 AM. The sections for this slot are Language and General Test.

The CUET 2023 Day 2 slot 1 entry process is closed now. Candidates who had reached on time were allowed entry after verifying their CUET 2023 admit card and photo identity card. 

The entry process for the CUET 2023 Day 2 Slot 1 begins at 7.30 AM. The exam for the first slot will begin in an hour.

The second day of CUET 2023 will be conducted today in three slots, 8.30 AM to 10.30 AM, 12 noon to 2 PM and 3.30 PM to 6.30 PM. 

According to experts, the Chemistry subject was of moderate to tough difficulty level. The majority of the questions were from Organic Chemistry, which accounted to around 18 questions out of 50 questions. Approximately three to four Numerical based questions were there, and these questions were easy in nature. The weightage of Physical Chemistry was the lowest and the difficulty level was easy as well. There were some case-based questions. 

NTA has stated that candidates will not be allowed to wear garments with big buttons or shoes with thick soles. Hence, decide your attire accordingly.

Based on the CUET 2023 Day 1 experience, a number of candidates who did not bring their Aadhaar Card, or did not have the Aadhaar Number handy, faced difficulty in candidate verification or Biometric check-in. Hence, it is advised that candidate carry their Aadhaar Card as their valid photo identity card. 

To allow entry into the CUET 2023 exam centre, candidates must carry the following documents:

• CUET 2023 Admit Card with Self-Declaration Undertaking
• Valid Photo Identity Card
• Passport-size Photo

The CUET 2023 Slot 3 was conducted for the Domain subjects. For the Science subjects, students and experts rated the test to be moderate to tough. The question types were similar to last year. Some questions were tricky and time-consuming, a few were direct in nature. 

Candidates appearing for the CUET 2023 are advised to revise their notes and not panic about the exam. 

The Slot 2 of the CUET 2023 exam was conducted for Language or English section and General Test. According to students, both sections were very easy. "I attempted all 40 questions in English and 48 in General Test. Both sections were very easy and scorable," says Ujjwal, a CUET 2023 Day 1 Slot 2 test-taker.

There are certain candidates who appeared for today's CUET 2023 exam and are also scheduled to take the test tomorrow are left miffed due to their harrowing experience today. They are worried about tomorrow's exam. "I have travelled from Sonepat to Noida. I have to go back tonight and come back all the way for my tomorrow's exam. I don't know if I will be able to revise. I am hoping tomorrow's exam will be glitch-free," said Swapna, a CUET 2023 candidate whose exam was scheduled in Slot 2.

As per the tentative timing given at some centres facing technical glitches, the CUET 2023 exam Slot 3 is likely to end soon, by 8 PM. 

A notice outside a CUET 2023 exam centre in Rohini stated that due to technical glitches, Slot 3 of the exam will conclude by 8 PM.

Owing to the delay in the CUET 2023 exam for Slot 2 and Slot 2 caused by the server error, parents and family members of candidates are getting distressed. "My daughter is taking the exam in two slots today. We are coming from Sonepat. Now the officials are saying that the exam of this shift will conclude at 9 PM. I am really worried about her and how will we go back so far at this hour," said a candidate's mother with whom Shiksha.com spoke to. 

"My brother has been inside for over four hours now. I don't know what is happening and when he will finally complete his exam. We are cluelessly standing outside the centre in this hot and humid weather," rebuked another candidate's family member. 

The CUET 2023 exam for Slot 3 has been delayed in some centres. Due to server errors in the Slot 2, the exam got delayed which impacted the third slot timing. Candidates' entry started at 4.45 PM and the exam began at 6 PM. Now the exam will conclude at 9 PM for this slot. 

The CUET 2023 Day 1 Slot 3 exam is going to conclude soon. This will mark the end of the first day of the exam. 

A candidate took to Twitter to share her unpleasant experience of appearing in the CUET 2023 exam. She was denied entry without Aadhaar Card, and later on, she faced issue regarding Biometric check-in process.

There is only one hour left for the CUET 2023 Day 1 Slot 3 to conclude. This shift started at 3.30 PM, this section is for the domain subjects opted for by the candidates. 

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar mentioned, "Shift 2 of CUET-UG concluded well in all the 272 cities and 448 centres. Total number of candidates scheduled in shift 1 was 87,903."

According to NTA, the CUET 2023 Day 1 first slot witnessed 72 per cent attendance of the registered test takers. 

The duration of the third slot of CUET 2023 is three hours. The exam is scheduled to end at 6.30 PM. In this slot, candidates' domain subject test will be there. The Language and General Test sections were tested in the first two slots.  

Candidates who are scheduled to appear in the upcoming days of the exam are demanding for their city intimation slips and CUET 2023 admit cards. NTA has not announced the dates to release these documents for the candidates scheduled to take CUET 2023 after May 24 yet.

In terms of Numerical and Reasoning, there were around four to five questions of moderate to tough difficulty level. The Mathematics questions were a bit tricky and time-consuming.

There were more questions from Quant and Reasoning as compared to the GK and Current Affairs. From Quantitative Ability, the topics were as follows:

• Percentage

• Ratio and Proportion

• Profit and Loss

• Height and Distance

• Mensuration

• Geometry

• Data Interpretation

• Interests

This section has been termed moderate to tough. The weightage was more on the Numerical Ability or Quantitative Ability area. The difficulty level was slightly high in this area. The Reasoning questions were also on the basic lines such as Blood Relations, Tables, etc. The questions on GK were on Tokyo Olympics, Nobel Prize in Literature, etc. From the Static GK, some of the questions were on History and a few on Politics and Geography.

The CUET 2023 Slot 3 of the first day begins at 3.30 PM. The duration of this shift is three hours unlike the last two shifts, which was two hours. 

The entry gates were closed at 3.15 PM for the CUET 2023 candidates appearing in the third slot. This is the only shift where the gates were closed 15 minutes prior to the exam instead of 30 minutes. 

According to the students and experts, the difficulty level of the CUET 2023 English Test was easy. The questions were based on Reading Comprehension and the types of questions were direct from the passage, and others were vocabulary and synonym-antonym, idioms and phrases and basic grammatical based. The questions of Grammar were on Active Passive, Types of Speech, Tenses, etc. Students did not face many challenges in this section. According to them, basic preparation and applying common sense would suffice in solving the questions from the English section of CUET 2023.

Rakesh: I appeared for the English and General Test. The difficulty level was average. There were no technical glitches in this shift. I am planning to take BTech admission at DU.

Vinay: The difficulty level of this slot of CUET 2023 was moderate. I am going to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in later dates and slots. I plan to take BSc admission at DU. 

Kanishka: I am from Humanities stream. It was an easy paper. The overall exam-taking experience was also good according to me. Through CUET, I plan to take admission in Language courses at JNU. 

Varun: I appeared for General Test and English. The difficulty level was moderate with some questions being on the tougher side. I am planning to take LLB admission at DU or JNU. 

Ansh: I found the English section questions to be easy and the General Test to be moderate. Although there was no technical glitch during the exam, there was one question in the General Test section which was repeated. There was a difficulty during the biometric checking process. NTA has released the CUET 2023 admit card for the exams scheduled from May 21 to May 24.

According to the CUET 2023 student reactions, a majority of the candidates expressed their preference for the University of Delhi (DU) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for their UG admissions.

DU CUET UG 2023 Slot 2 Exam Starts Today, Know Important Rules for Exam Day

The first slot of CUET 2023 had two sections or subjects, English and General Test. While the English Test was easy, the General Test was of moderate difficulty level. The questions in English were Reading Comprehension based. The questions were direct and some questions were vocabulary-based. One of the candidates stated that there was one question repeated. It is expected that NTA will manage this during the evaluation process through its marking scheme.

Although there was no technical glitches reported during the first slot of CUET 2023 exam, some candidates faced difficulty in the biometric login process. 

The second slot of the first day of CUET 2023 exam begins at 12 noon. The two-hour duration exam will conclude at 2 PM.

The entry gates of the CUET 2023 exam centre close exactly at 11.30 AM, as per the schedule. No candidates are allowed entry after this. 

According to the candidates with whom Shiksha.com interacted, no technical glitches were experienced while taking the CUET 2023 exam. However, a few candidates faced difficulty during the biometric checking process. 

According to a candidate Rakesh who appeared in the CUET 2023 Slot 1 for the BTech course, the difficulty level was moderate. The questions were on the expected lines. There was no technical glitch during the exam.

The entry gates open for the CUET 2023 Slot 2 candidates at 11 AM. Candidates are allowed entry after verifying their admit card and photo identity card. 

As the CUET 2023 first day and first slot concludes, candidates are instructed to exit the exam hall one by one, in a disciplined manner. They have to submit their CUET 2023 admit cards to the invigilators.
