The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the CUET UG Application Form for the academic session 2025- 2026 at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. Once the form is released, candidates seeking admission at central, state, private, and deemed universities accepting CUET score must fill the online form before the last date.
Before filling the CUET 2025 application form, candidates must know the eligibility criteria and documents required for the form to avoid any delay or mistake. The form will ask to add some personal and educational details. Candidates are advised to check all the filled columns before submitting the form. CUET UG 2025 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, in May and June 2025.
CUET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates desirous of pursuing UG courses through CUET must check the eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. According to NTA, the following academic and age requirements must be fulfilled by candidates to be eligible for the exam:
Academic Qualification
- Students should have passed Class 12th from a recognized Board in Science or a relevant stream for admission in UG Courses/Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in Central Universities.
- Students who are yet to appear for the Board exam are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit
There is no age limit to appear for the CUET UG 2025 exam.
Documents Required for CUET 2025 Registration
Candidates planning to fill the CUET UG application form and appear for the CUET 2025 exam are advised to keep the CUET registration documents ready before filling the online form.
Here is the list of documents required for CUET application form 2025:
- Active email I’d
- Valid phone number
- Candidate’s scanned passport size photograph (in JPG/JPEG format) (10 KB – 200 KB file size)
- Candidate’s scanned signature (in JPG/JPEG format) (5 KB – 30 KB file size)
- Class 10/12 mark sheets
- ID proof with photo (Aadhar card, driving license etc.)
- Caste certificate, non-creamy layer certificate (if required) (in PDF format) (50 KB – 300 KB file size)
- Debit card/credit card/ UPI details

National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2026 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. CUET is a gateway to more tahn 250 universities across India for its UG courses.
Candidates can apply for CUET score accepting colleges through CUET UG 2025 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter the name of the preffered universities and courses in order of preference. On declaration of the CUET results, the scores will be shared with the universities for which candidate has applied. Basis on the score obtained candidate will be shortlisted for the applied course.

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.
