
Allocation for BTech also begins; 2 regular rounds and mid-entry window planned
Delhi University (DU) has officially kickstarted the admission process for its postgraduate programs for the academic year 2025-26 through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-PG). As per the university’s announcement made today, the first round of allocations for PG seats will be declared at 5 PM on June 17.
Along with postgraduate admissions, the university has also released a detailed schedule for BTech admissions under CSAS for three programs—Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering—with the first seat allocation results also scheduled for June 17 at 5 PM.
Key Highlights of CSAS-PG 2025:
Two regular rounds of allocations will be conducted initially, followed by a mid-entry window for candidates who did not apply earlier or wish to upgrade.
A Supernumerary Gender Champion (SGC) quota has been introduced, with one seat reserved per program.
Admissions for categories like PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), Orphan, and SGC will commence in the first round, while allocations for CW (Children/Widows of Armed Forces), Sports, and Performance-based programs will begin in the third round.

As per the official presentation made today, the timeline for DU BTech admissions is as follows:
First Round of Allocation and Admissions:
Declaration of first allocation list: June 17, 5 PM
Acceptance and verification to be completed by June 22
Second Round of Allocation:
Seat allocation: June 25
Online approvals and fee payment deadline: June 30
Mid-Entry Window:
Open from July 2 to July 5 for fresh applicants or those upgrading
Third Round including CW & Ward Supernumerary Quotas:
Starts on July 8, with acceptance and verification running till July 13
Speaking at the launch, Delhi University Vice Chancellor reiterated the university’s commitment to transparent and inclusive admissions. The addition of new quotas and expanded flexibility through mid-entry is aimed at improving accessibility for students from all backgrounds.
The PG and BTech admissions are being conducted based on CUET PG and CUET UG scores, respectively. More details and the official schedule are available on the DU CSAS portal.
