IIM Sambalpur's Bachelor of Science in Management and Public Policy and Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence programmes aim to equip students with the core values of integrity and innovation with the strong roots of data analysis, critical reasoning and evidence-based decision making.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur has introduced two new undergraduate programmes in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The IIM Sambalpur's new UG courses, i.e. Bachelor of Science in Management and Public Policy and Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence programme, aim to equip students with the core values of integrity and innovation with the strong roots of data analysis, critical reasoning and evidence-based decision making. 

Along with the introduction of the programmes, a roundtable discussion was held for Global Capability Centres (GCCs) as Engines of Innovation for Global Enterprises, where Bramhanand Jha, PMP, Vice President, National eGovernance Division under MeitY, Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India, graced the event as Chief Guest. Lt. Col. Piyush Shukla, Director (JEE), National Testing Agency (NTA) and Rajesh Kumar, Director (CUET), National Testing Agency (NTA), were present as the keynote speakers. 

IIM Sambalpur New Courses Details

The Bachelor of Science in Management and Public Policy program aims to achieve national managerial goals in the areas of sustainability, community-led development and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). This curriculum aims to prepare a new generation of changemakers to bridge the gap between policy and implementation at the grassroots level.

The Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence aims to enhance India's technological proficiency and global competitiveness. The initiative, co-designed with industry leaders, promotes future-ready skills in young students and supports the use of ethical AI, strengthening the institution's commitment to innovation with integrity.
