West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) is going to introduce new question paper format for WBCHSE board exams 2023. The changes have been introduced based on feedback received from the students, Head Examiners, and Examiners. West Bengal Council notified about changing the exam pattern of the question paper in Higher Secondary Examination 2023 in the month of July 2022.

New WB HS Exam Pattern 2023

From WBCHSE Exams 2023, instead of separate question papers for Part A and Part B (Question cum Answer Booklet), there will be only one integrated question paper. Therefore, Part A and Part B need not be attached together at the end of the examination as has been done for the last few years.

From now, students of Class 11 and 12 would be provided a blank answer script in which they will write the answers to all questions. They are not supposed to write any answers on the question paper.

WBCHSE will conduct the WB HS routine 2023 from March 14 to 27, 2023 in pen and paper mode. The first exam will be held for Bengali (A), English (A), Hindi (A), Nepali (A), Urdu, Santhali, Odia, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi subjects while the last examination will be held for Statistics, Geography, Costing & Taxation, Home Management & Family Resource Management subjects. The timings of WBCHSE board exams 2023 are from 10 am to 1:15 pm.
