An Indian Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree is not valid for direct clinical pharmacist licensure in the USA. The U.S. requires a professional Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) for clinical practice. Because a standard Indian B.Pharm is a 4-year course, it does not meet the minimum 5-year foreign curriculum requirement set by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP)

Generally, Australia, the UK and Canada are the best countries for B.Pharm graduates because they offer clear, structured pathways to get licensed and work as a registered pharmacist.
