How to prepare for Assam VET 2020 in three months?

Assam VET 2020 Preparation Plan - First Month 

In this first month of preparation, candidates should focus on clarifying concepts from the syllabus. They should cover the syllabus one by one so as to not exhaust themselves during this time. Also, along with the syllabus, candidates should also: 

  • Know the exam pattern of AAU VET 2020
  • Review the topics to be covered for AAU VET 2020
  • Get books and study material for the preparation 
  • Schedule each subject separately and make short notes on the topics prepared

AAU VET 2020 Exam Pattern 

Here are the key features of AAU VET 2020 that candidates should know before appearing for the exam: 

Exam mode - The exam will be held in a pen-paper based test mode. 

Exam duration - The exam will be of two hours duration.

Test medium - The question paper will be available in English and Hindi 

Type of questions - The question paper will be carrying multiple choices based question only. 

Subjects - The question paper will be carrying four subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.

Total questions - There will be a total of 200 questions based on four subjects. 

Total marks - The total marks for Assam VET 2020 is 200 marks.

In the second month, candidates should focus more on enhancing their test-taking skills by taking mock tests. The key areas of focus in the second month should be: 

Time-management - Since the exam will be of two hours and, candidates need to work on time-management. They should give time to each subject depending on the time needed. Although there won't be sectional time-limit, nevertheless candidates should prepare for the exam keeping in mind 120 minutes and 200 questions. 

Speed of solving questions - If candidates practice more questions, it would be easier to work on time-management. Therefore, by taking mock tests, candidates would be able to improve speed to solving the questions. 

Accuracy rate - Candidates should be careful of accuracy of the answers as there will be negative marking in case of wrong attempts. Therefore, before attempting mock tests, candidates should clarify the concepts. 

Do preparation analysis - Candidates need to be sure of their preparation level in order to move ahead with preparation. Therefore, candidates should take at least one mock test per day in the second month to check the key improvement areas and, work on them thereafter. 

Assam VET 2020 Preparation Plan - Third Month 

In the third month, candidates should completely focus on revision of the entire syllabus. In order to revise strategically, candidates should: 

  • List out topics prepared and 'not prepared' from AAU VET 2020 syllabus
  • Take help of preparation notes prepared in the first month to revise properly
  • Take mock tests alongside to strengthen the preparation
  • Work on brushing up test-taking skills and tricks
  • Do not start any 'untouched topics' from the syllabus as it could create more confusions 
  • Stop revision at least 4-5 days before the exam and, just be confident as you have put enough efforts in preparation of AAU VET 2020.
