There is no limit on the number of students who can do a BSc at Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU). NSOU is an open university, which means that it is open to all students who meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

There's no Entrance examination conducted for UG/PG Admissions in SVIMS. The students are selected on their merit basis. You can apply for the admission through official website. The eligibility for UG admission is 12th Pass with 50% marks and for PG the criteria is Graduation in a relevant field with an aggregate of 60% marks. The total tuition fees for the BSc course at Brainware University range from INR 1.9 lakh to INR 6.9 lakh, and the ROI provided by the university is INR 2.2- 3 lakh. On the other hand, the tuition fees for the BSc course at Sister Nivedita University range between INR 2.2 - 8.1 lakh. And the return on investment provided by the SNU is INR 6 lakh. Hence, the return on investment/ average package from Sister Nivedita University is better than that of Brainware University. However, the ROI can fluctuate according to the fee structure and placement packages provided by the university. Ramakrishna Mission Residential College offers median package range of (aprx)INR 447,000 during in-campus placements. It has a decent placement assistance program as well. Additionally, it has been rated 3 on placements as per Shiksha verified reviews by students.

NIT Durgapur does not provide a BSc programme, but an Integrated BSc + MSc programme in Chemistry. The duration of the programme is five years. It leads to a dual-degree, i.e. a BSc and an MSc degree in Chemistry. NITD has an intake of 19 students for the five-year programme. Admission to the programme is based on JEE (Main) ranks and seats are allocated through JoSAA/CSAB counselling.

University of North Bengal admission based on merit and entrance exams. For admission to its MBA programme, the university accepts CAT, MAT, CMA, ATMA, and others.
