MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education) offers admission to various UG, PG, Diploma and doctoral-level programmes in the fields of Medicine, Technology, Science, Humanities, Social Science, Management, etc. Admission to a few of the courses is merit-based. For others, the entrance exam such as MET, CAT, XAT, NEET UG, etc., score is considered. The university accepts several national-level entrance exams to shortlist the candidates. Bangalore University is a well-know institute which has been established by the 1964. The university is offering quality education under the guidance of experts with years of experience. The university is known for its BTech and MBA programme. The university has decent placements, the median package offered at the Class of 2024 for UG is INR 8 LPA and for PG is INR 3.5 LPA.

Mangalore University offers courses at the UG, PG, PhD, PG Diploma, and Certificate levels. Admission to majority of courses is offered on the basis of Karnataka PGCET and KCET. Primarily, Mangalore University offers courses such as BPEd and MBA on the basis of valid scores of KCET. Apart from this, candidates must qualify Class 12 and graduation for admission to UG and PG level courses. 

CUK Karnataka is a government university, established in 2009. The University offers courses at the UG, PG, and Doctoral level in 6 major fields, within the campus of 654 acres. It is NAAC accredited with grade of B+ and is UGC recognised. The University offers the respective courses through 10+ constituent Schools. 

Karnataka University Dharwad course admissions include qualification of merit and entrance exam. The University offers courses in UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate levels for the durations varying from 1 year to 4 years.

Furthermore, KUD accepts various entrance examination scores for the admission to several UG/ PG courses such as Karnataka 2nd PUC, KMAT, KCET, XAT, MAT, CAT, CMAT and many more. 

Karnataka State Open University Mysore offers 420+ courses in UG, PG and PhD level on the basis of merit or entrance. The University offers courses such as BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BEd and BCA in ODL mode. KSOU offers these courses through 29 departments with segregated streams such as Food and Nutrition, Biotechnology, Information Technology and many others. 

Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE tuition fee ranges between INR 1.2 L – INR 15 L for various courses. This fee is exclusive of other components, such as examination fee, application fee, etc. Therefore, Manipal Institute of Technology is moderately costly, in comparison to other engineering institutes.
