Hello Reshmi, A.M.E. Leads to B.Sc. Degree and after obtaining liscence of DGCA, makes one eligible to work as maintenance person in any civil airlines in India. On the other hand, Aeronautical Engineering is a branch of Engineering like civil, mechanical, electrical etc. With similar competencies obtained after end of the course. Unfortunately as per report of ministry of HRD, only 50% fresh graduates could get placed last year. Best wishes to you.

Hello Reshmi, A.M.E. Actually can not be compared with Aeronautical Engineering. However if we still do then it must be on some parameters. A.M.E. Is actually a skill imparting course leading to the degree of B.Sc. Presently placements are very good and are expected to remain like this in near future. On the other hand, Aeronautical Engineering will make students expert in all aspects of a flying objects. But presently job prospects are very bleak and are not expected to improve substantially. You have a very low chance of getting only JNTU that too in the 3rd counselling. But, it should depends on the seats left out in the counselling. You won't get admission in AU or JNTUK in any round of counselling. All the best.
