To apply for aeronautical engineering you don't need to appear for the entrance exam. You must have at least 35% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Science from recognized board. Just apply and selection will be based on the percentage obtained in 10th.

Hello Yaswant, It's very nice to know your dream of becoming an aeronautical engineer. But unfortunately Tamil Nadu government or for that matter normally any state government does not permit students from other states to join in degree colleges of their states. Hence even though you may be technically eligible, I doubt if you can get admission there. Your best chance is college in your state or study hard and get admission in IIT which treat Diploma as equivalent to 12th.

Toss a coin, because when the coin is up in the air, you will get to know what your heart says. Anyway, both of the above areas has huge scope of development in the future. In the computer Science domain, the major work areas would be, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Automation and Internet Security. The future of aeronautical would be development of better propulsion systems and other innovations in space travel.

Hello Shantu,
It's nice to know that you have scored very well. I, therefore, suggest that you aim for admission in IIT-Mumbai. Try to learn the subjects. This will go a long way in clearing JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

Hello Vrushu,
The trend perhaps is not to reveal anything about the cut-offs! College website has no details. But it is gathered that for Aeronautical engineering branch, cut off was around 60K. But then there are different categories of admission and cut off is different for each.
