Hello Rahul,
In India at the moment and in near future, jobs for aeronautical engineers are going to be rather limited. This is so since there are not many institutions who are working in this as the core area. In view of this, I will strongly recommend you to choose ECE.

Hello Akash,
The institute you are talking about is the variety of government/government aided. In all such institutes, admissions are normally restricted to the students domiciled in the state. Hence if you are domicile then only you will get admission.

Yes, it is a good career option because it is growing. This field is in its saturation period since no new companies came to India in this field and not enough investments are made in home grown and except government organisation's None of the private companies are not really doing any scopeful Aerospace related jobs here, to employ you. Remember they all just manufacturing units. I have witnessed my friends (toppers to under performers) joined in airlines crews and ground station crews posts for which you don't need to study this hectic Engineering, just good English and appealing personality is enough. And some of them went for Maste

Yes, it requires only 10+2. So definitely can. For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires PCM to be a pilot. And, even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible. Further, you should be aware that you are medically fit to be a pilot, so I would suggest you to visithttp://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/medical-ind.htmandgototheclass2nd examiners tab to find out doctors who will examine you for initial fitness. The process for aeronautical engineering is based on JEE score in the desired institute. So if he is pursuing 12th then tell him to study hard to score well in JEE.

Its quite difficult to answer because Aerospace department is just 2 years old. In 2015, it was around 3000+ for general. In 2016, it came down to 2000+ for general. So, if you are in 12001800 range, you can have some hope to GET a seat.
