This college is not a normal college where you will earn degree of engineering. It's quite different. It is proposing totally different admission process as well as saying that two years in India followed by two years abroad will be the system followed. It's your choice whether to follow such a riskful adventure. But then what us life without adventure?

For any branch of engineering, one needs to appear for and clear entrance exam conducted by the concerned state unless that state accepts JEE Mains score. In your case, you will have to appear for entrance examination conducted by TN.

From what you have said, this course does not appear to be of engineering Graduation. But it's a course about aircraft maintenance leading to graduation and most importantly, enabling the student to obtain license from DGCA.Even if college is not giving scholarships, you can get education loan.

After diploma, a student can seek lateral admission directly in 2nd of engineering. However there is a catch. These admissions are restricted to within same state. Hence I am afraid, you will have to seek admission in a college in Maharashtra only.

Eligibility for the course that you are asking is 10+2 with PCM. I suppose you must be having this qualification. Hence, you are eligible.

Placements in IIT are on a different level. Prospective employers take on graduates of IIT on their overall perspective and hence almost all are placed at the end of the cycle. Though as per the report, last year, 10% graduates at IIT Delhi could not be placed last year.

In India, presently, opportunities for employment on core aeronautical engineering jobs are pretty less. Newly appointed CEO of Infosys too is an aeronautical engineering graduate from IIT Mumbai but he is into the software. However, it can be stepping stone for doing MBA or higher studies. Few employers in core jobs are Armed Forces, DRDO, ISRO, etc.
