Only few companies come for placement for aeronautical but we have mechanical background you can also go for mechanical / automobile companies. If you have talent, you can be place in core companies.

Hi,
After completing Diploma in mechanical engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course in the Aeronautical Engineering.
To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
Some of the colleges offering lateral B.Tech course are :

As flight technology advanced to include craft operating in outer space (astronautics), the broader term 'aerospace engineering' has largely replaced it in common usage. Aerospace engineering, particularly the astronautics branch, is often colloquially referred to as 'rocket Science'.
