Most Aeronautical Engineers prefer to join private companies as they have higher pay scales than the public sector companies. Aeronautical Engineers also get excellent job opportunities in foreign countries like America, United Kingdom, Germany and France. Internship programmes
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore hosts summer internship programmes for engineering students from various educational institutions across the country. These programmes are supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The selected students are paid a monthly stipend of Rs.3,000 during their period of work at the institute.
